The prudent use of our natural resources also means the need to find ever more innovative ways of dealing with the disposal of our waste. Landfill should be the last stop for the majority of mainstream waste after all methods of re-use and recycling have been considered.
Our work with clients in this sector is varied, from dealing with proposals for Waste Transfer Stations and Materials Recycling Facilities (MRF’s); to site-specific strategies in association with residential and commercial developments, which firstly seek to minimise waste; and secondly manage the collection and removal of waste.
For those clients who deal with the disposal of waste to landfill, we also undertake work in relation to increasing landfill void capacity; the revision of approved contour levels for landfill sites that are to be capped earlier than previously anticipated; and ancillary operations that are commonly undertaken alongside landfill operations.
